Toddler Room

At our center, toddlers are tops! We’ll be there for your children as they leave behind the trappings of infancy and being to embrace the self-sufficiency that comes with being a preschooler. Big Hearts, Little Hands also understands that with this self-sufficiency comes a whole new set of moods. We work to anticipate the rapid mood swings that accompany the child’s discovery of his or her ability to express their emotions. Teachers and childcare providers assist the children in recognizing their moods in a variety of ways. We work individually with your children to help them understand their new feelings and to provide them with simple strategies to express themselves. On the physical front, we devote ourselves to working with our toddlers on both large and small muscle development.
